Abandoned Military Base near Dugway and Skull Valley. Lots of bunkers and 90's tech.

Massive abandoned mill near Goshen and Genola. Lots of graffiti art.

Perhaps the most jaw-dropping place in Utah that you have never heard of or been to. Located near Vernal, Utah.

This isn't really a ghost town. Idk what to call it, but it's a neat little area in Skull Valley. It is occasionally inhabited.

Not an abandoned ghost town, but there are some very interesting abandoned things around here.

A ghost town located near Eureka, Utah. One of the coolest ghost towns I have personally been to.

Half submerged ghost town right off of Highway 89.

Abandoned military base out in Green River located off of I-70. It is on the way to Moab, Utah.

This mine never produced much ore, but many believe it holds treasure. Also something about the second coming. This place has some super quirky history thats worth looking into.

Cool art piece in the middle of nowhere.

Cool structures near Frisco, Utah, which is also a ghost town.

Abandoned water park located right in Salt Lake City.

This is a smaller mill with a really interesting history. Apparently it started out as a scam.

Incredibly scenic drive that takes you from Payson to Nephi.
Absolutely massive aspen colonies.
This massive structure remains standing mere minutes away from a large business park area in Cottonwood Heights.

A pair of ghost towns located off of I-70.
Supposedly one of the best preserved and most expansive ghost towns in the state. Also along I-70.
This place is massive. The building is 3 stories tall and there is lots to explore. Located very very close to Tooele, Utah.

Exactly what the name says.

Micronation north of the Great Salt Lake near Kelton, Utah

This fascinating cave is located in an extremely remote part of Utah along the border with Nevada.

TONS of mines here.
Ghost town located deep in the mountains of Northern Utah.
Cool caves and abandoned Spanish mines exist in the area. Great hiking around here too.
Abandoned trading post located in Bluff, Utah.
Another ghost town. There is a cemetery at the base of the canyon and some abandoned mines in the area too if you know where to look.

Intense cave. Someone died here so it has been sealed up.
Abandoned factory located right off of I-15 near Brigham City, Utah.
Abandoned creamery located along John's Valley Rd. 4 floors, a basement, 4 large silos, and some surrounding building foundations.

The legend goes that a polygamist man killed seven of his wives, buried them around this large cross, and then hung himself from it.

Right off the side of Ouray-Randlett Road are 3 abandoned houses in various conditions.

A small tunnel that used to be used for trains located near Elberta, Utah.
Death Canyon describes a general area where a few mines exist.
Coldest place in Utah located between Logan and Bear Lake. Some of the coldest temperatures in the lower 48 were recorded here.

Unique rock formations in western Utah

Ancient volcano remains with hot springs nearby.
A quick little stop off of I-80.

Church rock is a solitary column of sandstone in southern Utah along the eastern side of U.S. Route 191.

About 50 minutes south of Goblin Valley, this bus just sits off of the road.

Popular caving and repelling spot near Utah Lake.
Crawl cave located about 100 yards from the potato hill trail head in Draper, Utah.

Off of Big Cottonwood Canyon Road is a trailhead that takes you to a cave and a mine. Add to map.
Used to be a ghost town until the land was bought by a company. Most buildings are gone, but they left a few.
Largely preserved mine located on the north east side of Ephraim, Utah.

Very cool ghost town near Helper, Utah on the way to Moab.

Extremely pretty hike up a dried out river in Escalante area south of Canonville, Utah.
Very large cave system with multiple chambers.
Another cave system located near Mammoth Cave.
(Not to be confused with the cottonwood canyons in the valley)
Ghost town that is located about 40 minutes south of Goblin Valley.
This is a collection of all the mines in the Stockton, Utah area.
Some interesting slot canyons along hole in the rock road near Escalante, Utah.
Red rock ruins located in southeastern Utah.

Unique rock formations located near San Rafael Swell.

This is not a ghost town, but there are lots of cool ruins and well preserved buildings in this area. Many people use it as a summer home area as access in the winter is questionable

Abandoned mine located in the Newfoundland Mountains west of the Great Salt Lake. There are also above ground ruins next to the mine.
Different than the Monarch Mineral mine. This is located immediately west of the Great Salt Lake. Need to visit this location to give more accurate coordinates.
Lava tubes located near Fillmore, Utah. Fun cave-like formations to explore just off of I-15

This is a very very large cluster of mines located near San Rafael Swell. Working on getting accurate coordinates for them all but there is a lot of land to cover.
This is different than the Crystal Ball Cave. This cave is run by the BLM of Utah and can only be accessed via permit by calling them.

Abandoned mine located up Logan Canyon a short way off of the main road.
Really fucking big mine. If you want to explore it all, you'll need actual climbing gear and shit.

Area located in southeastern Utah near Bluff used for testing weapons for the US Military.
Test site near Goblin Valley. Lots of visible craters still.
Ghost town and mill located near St. George. Possible mines in the area. Next to a river. Very scenic.
Not completely a ghost town, but there are many abandoned buildings and not many residents.
I know it's not in Utah, but this ghost town is very close to the border.
Ghost town near the west entrance to Zion National Park. Large structure remains along with some foundations and a cemetery.

Ghost town located near the Wyoming border in the King's Peak area.
Ghost town located on the north side of the Great Salt Lake. It was split into 2 parts: east Kosmo and west Kosmo.
Ghost town and old railroad community northwest of SLC. Located near the sun tunnels.
Ghost town south of price with some foundations left and a cemetery.
There is an abandoned gas station right off the side of the road. If you keep going there are abandoned buildings and foundations in the area.

Large ghost town with lots of buildings. Located just west of Frisco, Utah.

Ghost town near Scofield, Utah, which is another very very small town located west of Price, Utah.
Ghost town with a gold mine nearby. Situated in the middle of nowhere.

Cool but sealed Uranium mine south of Moab, Utah.
