General Overview

Bauer, Utah is located about 10 minutes south of Tooele. The main part of it is tucked away against a hill so most people don't see it from the highway or street. It has been abandoned since like the 60's.

What To Do

You definitely have to go the the main area first because the building (what's left) is like 3 stories tall and there's tons to explore and the views are great. There is tons and tons of graffiti art on the walls

If you walk around the place, you will notice shotgun casings litter the ground. This is a destination that many people use for skeet shooting and just target practice in general.

There are also remains of the town itself just east of the main building. The coordinates supplied are right in the middle of all the building foundations. There are even more remains all along the main road into the town itself.

Other Things To Note

It is right next to a solid waste disposal facility. Also, don't miss the dirt road turn off once you are off the highway. Also this is bigger than the Tintic Standard Reduction Mill.

Final Thoughts

Honestly, this place is super cool. Not a lot of people outside of Tooele have ever even heard about it before and I totally would recommend this place for a road trip.
