The Honeycombs

Near Nevada? not near a whole lot really

General Overview

The Honeycombs are located about 25 miles east of the Utah-Nevada border as the crow flies. The only location even remotely close is the Crystal Ball Cave, and even then that is about an hour and 45 minutes away. It is about 3 hours and 20 minutes from downtown SLC. This serves as a good POI if you are heading to the Crystal Ball Cave. Regardless, Death Canyon, Fumarole Butte, and the Delta Solar Ruins are all located between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 2 hours and 50 minutes east of this location.

What To Do

Since this is located right off the road, you will be able to just drive right up to them. You can hike all around them or even find a way to the top and see nothing but desert as far as the eye can see.

Other Things To Note

The road there is not paved. Weiss Road (where it's located off of) is a gravel road.

This rock formation is incredibly cool and unique
