Tintic Standard Reduction Mill

Near Genola, Utah - Visited 8/26/18

General Overview

This abandoned mill is super cool. I totally recommend checking this place out because of how large and expansive it is. The ruins are totally covered in graffiti art, which adds a very cool aesthetic.

Just know that if you get caught trespassing here, you will get a fine no questions asked. It is trespassing. Many, many people have unsuccessfully visited the mill because they got fined. I was fortunate enough when I went that I did not get into trouble with any law enforcement.

What To Do

You will have to park in a dirt area just north of the mill because the gate to access the road is always locked. Directions to this location can tend to lead you in a circle, but just go with your gut on a direct route.

Again, be wary of law enforcement.

Final Thoughts

Again, this place is super awesome and definitely worth visiting. It comes down to luck though if you will get in trouble.
