Standardville, Utah

Near Price and Helper, Utah

General Overview

This area encompasses a large quantity of ghost towns all located next to each other. Their names are Standardville, Peerless, StorrsLatuda, and Burnt Tree Fork (hyperlink to pins). They are all up the same canyon next to Helper. These towns were big mining towns back in the day. Standardville was by far the largest, and it has the most buildings left. It was an old coal mining town. 4x4 recommended. some of these offshoot "roads" are hardly roads at all. The road through this canyon seems pretty shitty on google maps.

What To Do

Tons of old structures remain in Standardville. Just up the road, there is a structure at Latuda, and a little further there is a large structure at Burnt Tree Fork.

Mines Mines Mines. This area is full of them. I have not been here yet personally so I have not been able to verify the mine entrance locations. Some mines/adits came from this app I got called OsmAnd and some of the mines came from link 3.
