Seven Peaks Water Park
Salt Lake City, Utah - Visited 5/5/20
General Overview
I honestly had no idea that this place even existed. It closed sometime in 2019, but the place looks way more decrepit for only being abandoned recently.

What To Do
I was a little more wary of cops when I went, so I parked my car across the street at a park and then went in. You should be fine if you just parked in the lot though. There are a variety of ways in. You can hop a fence or squeeze through at the main entrance or head around towards the back. It's really up to you.

You'll probably run into a fair amount of inner-city kids because a lot of them like to hang out here. They all like to just hang out near the slides and such. One area I thought was neat was at the very back behind the wave machine (coords below). You could go in and see the massive machinery used to move thousands of gallons of water. There is also employee areas and lounges back there as well. The water park is right next to a shitty golf course. Honestly, who designs a completely flat golf course? This is completely unrelated.

You can spend a good couple hours here if you want to see everything.

A lot of offices at the front are boarded up and weren't taken down by others when I went. One of the office doors that was open contained an interested binder full of all of the people that are banned from the water park. All the mugshot pictures they have are awkward and quite hilarious.

Really cool picture of one of the big slides.

One of the long slides.
Video I took showing all the people who were banned from the water park.
Final Thoughts
Kinda neat that this is just sitting right in Salt Lake City. Definitely worth a visit because of its proximity to everything.
